A CIMLA woman is running for a top accolade thanks to her managerial skills.
Jan Lewis, who works for Conduit in Cardiff, is a finalist in the manager of 100-plus category of the Welsh Contact Centre Awards 2009.
She was recognised by her peers for the difference she has made in powering the contact centre industry, which contributes £400 million a year to the Welsh economy.
Jan, aged 48, said: “I am incredibly pleased to be nominated because the contact centre community is very professional and capable. I have excellent peers, and I am grateful to be acknowledged among such industry leaders.”
Sandra Busby, managing director of the Welsh Contact Centre Forum said: “The contact centre industry in Wales is kept alive and buoyant by hard-working and dedicated people such as Jan. I congratulate her for getting into the final of this prestigious competition.”
