Conduit to take Tesco Calls

Tesco Mobile has hired call centre operator Conduit to handle customer care calls for people using the new 089 mobile phone service. Conduit staff will deal with customer registrations, service queries and calls from people moving form other mobile operators to Tesco Mobile.

Tom Britten, general manager of Tesco Mobile Ireland, said the new service was a “significant development” for the Irish mobile sector. Conduit already has deals with Tourism Ireland, Talk Talk and Vodafone in Britain. Final Press Release
